Medical Certificate Adoption

What kind of certificate is that?

Deciding on adoption is a big and exciting decision. Both the National Board of Health and Welfare and the authority or organization in the country in question usually request a medical certificate. We are happy to help you with this. The requirements from abroad vary, but most often they want to exclude disabled medical conditions. HIV testing is a very common requirement, including by the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you have the opportunity to give blood samples on the day you come to us, the certificate can be ready already two days after.

When your documents are to be sent abroad, they must be signed by a Notary Public confirming the authenticity of the documents. To make things easier for you, work with Notary Publicus Gabriel Rudbeck at Sveavägen 24. Since they know us before, it is faster for them to confirm the authenticity of the medical certificate.
